What is Medial Massage?
Medical massage is various types of bodywork that use specific techniques to enhance circulation and healing, decrease pain and increase range of motion. Medical Massage increases endorphins, the bodies natural pain killers and induces the rest/relaxation response of the parasympathetic nervous system so that you feel a tremendous sense of well-being. It reduces pain and suffering and allows freedom of movement which promotes quality of life.
What is Medial Massage?
It is used for a variety of common conditions including pinched nerves, bursitis, sciatica, low backache, fibromyalgia, arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, tennis elbow, rotator cuff injuries, migraines, tension headaches and TMJ.
Medical Massage is increasingly prescribed by physicians as a compliment to traditional medical treatment for injuries and illnesses. Medical Massage Therapists work closely with Physicians, Physical Therapists and Chiropractors.
